Parties, Seafood and Less Than 12 Hours

Hihihi! Another quickie update: Friday night had the official byebye-party for yours truly, which was attended by a quite a large group of my closest mates: Judi, Justin, Carol, Mark, Josie, Brett, Chris, Jade, Adam, Beattie, Sharon, Craig (yaaay haven't seen S&C in a long time!), Phil, Geri, Dan, Christine, Anita, Anthony and Ross. Have I missed anyone out? I don't think so. Sincerest apologies if I have - have just come home from another party, Mark's birthday-housewarming, and so the world's a little bit fuzzy right now, ahahaha! But going back to the Friday night party - was a lot of fun, and it certainly was awesome catching up with everybody. There was lots of food, and we exchanged gifts ('everyone' gave me a gift, I in return handed out homemade CDs, much to everyone's chagrin delight)... and this is the best part of all: I received a new digital camera! Whoohooo!!! Yippeeeee!! Thanks everyone! And so I'm happy to announce that there will be a lot more photos on this blog from this point forth. Well, when I get home, that is, since I'm currently on Carol's laptop and have to install the camera driver to upload the files into the system. Heh! So more photos soon!!

Saturday arvo I headed to St Thomas More for the last time and played for the confirmation mass, which was a lot of fun. It was nice to say byebye to everyone for the final time (although some of them will be seeing me off at the airport later today)... and later at around 8pm, Judi, Justin and I headed down to Clancy's Fish Pub for a scrumptious dinner of seafood and cappucinos all round. Lovely stuff. 9-ish and we were at Mark's, where we drank heaps, ate, made friends with some lovely new people, bonded with old people whom we'd never previously really got to know (heeey Steve), and all in all, it has been a great day.

Now it's 3am on Sunday morning and it's less than 12 hours till I'll be at the airport. Here's wishing us all a safe journey... and a brand new beginning wherever we might be. God bless. Take care, love heaps, ~N
