Damn It All! Heinous!
Bleargh. I've eaten too much... and it was only a bowl of pasta and some grapes for dessert. Lately been having a diminished appetite, to go with the belowmentioned lack of focus and sleep. Hmmm. Wondering if I need a proper vacation from all this uni work, ahahahaa! Probably. Can't wait for this year to be over. Whew. Yesterday morning I woke up tired, and had a class to go to. So I decided, I'd rock up to class, get my name ticked off, excuse myself to go to the men's room or somefing, and then leave and don't come back. After all, the tutor for the class was a guest, and she wouldn't know who i was, let alone really notice if I was missing. Alas, when the time came, the focus of the group was on teamwork, and the first thing the tutor did was count the number of people and assign us into groups. Damn it to heck, I thought bitterly, realising that my devious plan of truancy had been thwarted. Thwarted! Grr! Arrgh! Gnash!
Anyhooo.
That concludes my story of the day. Am wondering if I should take the day off and simply kick back and relax, ignoring the nagging at the back of my mind that I still have heaps of music work to do. Tonite there's a home gathering for the Murdoch Uni Catholic Community at our chaplain Fr Michael's "joint", as he terms it. Should be fun. Should be a good way to get away from the dreariness and seek some spiritual (i.e. social :P) refreshment. I mean refreshing. Refreshment? No, that's a drink. Okay. Anyway. Ignore that. ... And tomorrow nite we're having a steamboat dinner at my place for some of the MUCC gang, which should be fun. Those of you who don't know what a steamboat dinner is, it's one of those annoying Asian things (hahahahaha I jest!! don't be offended now, y'hear?!) where you dunk seafood, meats and other
