Recaps & New Year's Leave...

Hey all. What's new? Nothing much on this side of the world, unfortunately and fortunately. Tomorrow I'll be taking off with the family up to Penang, where we'll be spending the week during the Chinese New Year hols. Yaaay, CNY. Money, food and irritating relatives who talk too much and ask you too many personal questions and drive you up the wall family. So I might not be able to post for a while. Anyway. Today we left little Chloe and big Jodie (the dogs) at the vets. Poor things were traumatised like crazy at being shoved into tiny cages that resemble prison cells. But what can we do; nobody's gonna be home to look after them, so we have no choice but to leave them at the low-budget pet hotel, as the Vet proudly proclaims his shelter to be. Ah well. At least they'll be vaccinated and stuff while they're there. Shots. That's the silver lining...

Will be returning to Perth on February 17th, and can't wait! While life in Malaysia is quiet and relaxing (read: boring), there's only so much oversleeping and doing-nothing that one can bear. In the meantime, I've finished reading 20 novels in the eleven weeks I've been back (has it been 11 weeks already?! jeezus) and have finished my previously-mentioned website, and commenced work on a musical for my good buddy Paul, a really funny play entitled 1927 (Not A War Movie). Paul's real cool - check out his website here. Free advertising. You gotta love it.

Well, that's about all for now. I shall leave you with one last picture of little Chloe who has grown quite a bit since the last time, not that it's too evident in the photo or anything:

Byebye for now! Happy Chinese New Year to all who celebrate! ~N
